I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Langley Gray writes sweet romance novellas. After writing dozens of novels as a ghostwriter, she decided it was time to take the leap and write for herself. She writes what she loves to read, romantic stories with a mix of luxury and pop culture.

“It’s just a party!”

JoJo is a household name. Supermodel turned fashion designer and one-fourth of the tightest group of badass women, she is about to get married. What should be the happiest moment of her life quickly has her reflecting on how unhappy she is. Her fiance, a big Hollywood actor, is controlling and condescending. On the day of the wedding, JoJo wakes up and realizes this isn’t what she wants. So, she boards a plane and flies away. Now what?

This was the sweetest story. I love JoJo, and how she looks at the world. I love her friendship with her girls and their love for her. I enjoyed this story. The tranquility described within the Tuscan villa was so well detailed that I could almost feel the warm breeze and see the vibrant colors of the sunset.

JoJo goes through a lot in this book, and she does so at a fast pace, but it also makes sense with who she is. Her growth and her blossoming are truly lovely. Jonny was such a perfect leading man, kind, smart, driven, and not afraid of having a strong woman by his side. He sees JoJo as an equal and treats her as such, which she isn’t used to.

Their love story was a lifetime in the making, considering they were children together. The passion is genuine, and the bond is strong.

I would love a story for Paul. I am so intrigued by his character, and I loved him from the moment we met him, as he attempted to get his truck up a hill. He was such a kind and compassionate friend to JoJo when she needed it most, and he didn’t want or expect anything from her. He just wanted her to be happy.

This is the second book I’ve read from Langley Gray, and something I appreciate about her stories is there are so much depth and such a vibrant bloom to her characters. This is the second book in her socialites series, and I am already waiting for book three with eager anticipation. If you are looking for a charming, very genuine love story, you have found it. This is a sweetheart home run.
